Middleton Hall

The Trust's resources are available for group visits on any date when there is no prior booking. There is much to engage people with a wide range of interests. Specialist groups interested in nature, architecture, gardening, history, fine arts and even technology will find it well worth their while to spend time in our Hall and grounds. For a preview of what there is to see and study, the links on the left allow a virtual tour of the Trust

The Hall and grounds also offer a good day out for general interest groups, such as Women's Institutes, Mother's Unions, Church Groups and residents of protected accomodation.

It should be noted that although the grounds and the ground floor of the premises are fully accessible, there is no disabled access to the first floor of the Hall. Our historic buildings do not lend themselve to the installation of lifts.

Visits can be arranged to suit all tastes. Refreshments could be as little as tea, or coffee and biscuits, or as much as a gourmet dinner. As a guide, a visit including tea and biscuits would be charged at £5 per person, a light buffet lunch would increase the price to £9 a head and for full scale catering, see our scale of charges on our conferences page.
